An Competitive Program for 9th-12th Graders!
The CFJ Competitive High School Rowing Program is designed for dedicated student-athletes in grades 9–12 who seek excellence both academically and athletically.
Athletes train 5–6 days per week under experienced coaches using proven training methodologies focused on technical development, physical conditioning, and mental resilience. Practices include on-water rowing, ergometer training, strength and conditioning, and race strategy development. Rowers compete at local and regional regattas, with opportunities to qualify for national-level competitions.
Beyond competition, the program places a strong emphasis on character development, leadership, time management, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Regular coach check-ins and team-building activities help support athletes both on and off the water. Student-athletes are expected to uphold strong academic standards while contributing positively to team culture. the CFJ Competitive Program prepares athletes for success in college rowing and life beyond sport, developing confident, disciplined, and resilient young adults.
