Cleveland collegiate sailing collaborative

Shared Training Fleet for Cleveland Area College Students!

This program is open to all college-aged students currently enrolled at any Ohio college or university. Sail with your school team or join independently, and everyone trains together as part of a collaborative fleet and shared coaching program! Hosted by The Foundry out of Cleveland’s Historic Coast Guard Station on Lake Erie, the program provides everything needed to get on the water, including professionally maintained boats, expert coaching, and access to a sailing venue. Teams register and compete representing their own schools at regattas, while practices are shared to build sailing skills, teamwork, and a strong sense of friendly competition across colleges. Sailors joining without an established collegiate team or club are encouraged to have prior small-boat sailing experience or equivalent training to ensure they can confidently participate and continue developing foundational skills. The program  prepares teams and individual sailors for competition within the Midwest Collegiate Sailing Association (MCSA).
