FALL 2024 ADULT sailing
Step onto one of our 33-foot tiller sailboats and set sail on Cleveland's great Lake Erie! Our instructors will introduce you to the parts of the boat, points of sail, knot tying, identifying wind direction, and more. On the water, you will trim sails and steer the boat, to successfully navigate the waters of Lake Erie with the Cleveland skyline as your backdrop. Our experienced instructors focus on safety and fun, so that you leave the course confident on the water and eager to learn more.

Adult Basic Sailing
This program is for adults 18 and older who are interested in learning the basic knowledge and skills of sailing or those looking to improve their fundamental skills. No prior experience is needed.​
This is a "hands on" program with lessons being taught both on land and on water by certified coaches.
​Lessons are held on Monday & Wednesdays or Tuesday & Thursday evenings from 5:30pm - 7:30pm.​The cost (due at registration) $235 for the two-day sessions.
The Foundry provides instruction by a certified coach, professionally maintained boats, insurance, a safety fleet, safety gear, and administrative support.​
