The Cleveland Foundry Juniors Competitive program is open to student athletes in the 9th - 12th grades.

*Winter and Spring sessions are both included when you sign up for the Spring season*

Parent Informational Meeting

Saturday, February 28, 2026 9:30am - 10:30am

Spring Conditioning:

January 12th, 2026 - March 1, 2026

Practices: Monday - Friday

from 4:45pm - 7:00 pm

Spring Water Season Schedule:

Monday, March 2nd - Saturday May 23rd

Practices: Monday - Friday from 5:00pm - 7:30pm (tentative), and Saturdays from 9:00am - 11:30am

CFJ Competitive Varsity Team Spring Racing Schedule:

The Spring Regatta Schedule is under development. Notification will be given by the coaching staff once the schedule is finalized.

Note: Final race readiness will be at the discretion of the coaching staff.

CFJ Competitive Varsity Cost

$1450.00

*Registration for returning athletes will close January 31st*

January - March Training Requirements: All returning athletes wishing to participate in the spring 2026 season must be registered. If returning athletes are playing a winter sport or extra curricular they must reach out to the coaches to coordinate their training schedules. Athletes not able to meet minimum training schedule requirements going into the spring water season may risk not being able to join the competitive team this season.

CFJ Middle School Development Program

All 6th - 8th grade students are welcome - newcomers or rowers with prior experience. This program aims to teach and establish a base of fundamental rowing skills. The coaches create a welcoming, enjoyable, and supportive environment for all where students can expect to see progress individually and as a team.

Recreational Program

The Recreational program is geared towards 9-12th grade athletes who are either, looking for a fun a low commitment way to give rowing a try, or are experienced rowers who can't commit to the competitive team’s 5-6 days/week training and racing schedule at the moment but are looking to stay involved in the sport.
