EXPLORE SAIL CAMP:
First MATES & MIDDLE SCHOOL
The Foundry’s Youth Sailing Camps invite rising 3rd- 8th graders to catch the wind and take the helm on Lake Erie! Whether brand-new to sailing or ready to level up, campers learn to sail one- and two-person boats at beginner, intermediate, or advanced levels. Guided by experienced, US Sailing–certified instructors, kids build confidence on the water with a strong emphasis on safety, teamwork, and fun. Campers start on shore mastering the essentials, like the points of sail, boat parts, knot tying, and rules of the road, then head out onto the lake to put their skills to the test, practicing sail trim, tiller steering, and real-world sailing techniques. Every day brings new challenges, fresh breezes, and unforgettable time on the water.

Explore Sailing Camps will run Monday - Thursdays from 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM at The Foundry's Sailing Venue at the Historic Coast Guard Station.
