September 20, 2025: Head of the Cuyahoga race practice, Cleveland, Ohio

September 27, 2025: Head of the Cuyahoga, Cleveland, Ohio

October 11, 2025: Head of the Muskingum, Marietta, Ohio

October 25, 2025: Blake Haxton Regatta, Columbus, Ohio

Note: Final race readiness will be at the discretion of the coaching staff.

$1450.00

8th Grade Eligibility

Athletes going into 8th grade with prior rowing experience may be eligible to sign up for the CFJ Competitive Varsity Team.

Criteria for signing up for the CFJ Competitive Varsity Team as an 8th grade athlete:

Must submit a request to register by contacting the coaching staff at foundryrowing@clevelandfoundry.org
Must be an 8th Grade student for school year 2025-2026
Must have prior rowing experience (generally, a full Spring or Fall season)
Must have an interest in racing and competition
Must have the ability to commit to the practice and racing schedule

The coaching staff will review all requests. You will be notified a decision of eligibility for the CFJ Competitive Varsity Team after review of your request.

CFJ Middle School Development Program

All 6th - 8th grade students are welcome - newcomers or rowers with prior experience. This program aims to teach and establish a base of fundamental rowing skills. The coaches create a welcoming, enjoyable, and supportive environment for all where students can expect to see progress individually and as a team.

This coach started as a rower on our very first Foundry Juniors team! Can you name the coach?

CFJ RECREATIONAL Program

This fall season, the Foundry is introducing a Recreational Rowing Team for high school students (9th - 12th grade).

The program is designed for brand new rowers as well as experienced rowers who cannot commit to a competitive, 5-6 days/week training and racing schedule.

Progress your skills on and off the water, workout, and make friends in a casual, low commitment setting. Newer rowers will establish their abilities on our rowing machines and tanks before joining the experienced crew on the water in 8 and 4 person shells.

CFJ Recreational Team Schedule

EVERY Tuesday and EVERY OTHER Monday August 25, 2025 to October 28, 2025

5:00pm - 7:30pm

There are several schedule options from which to choose offering your student athlete the flexibility to attend for part of or for the entire season!

Full Season: August: 25th, 26th September: 2nd, 8th, 9th, 16th, 22nd, 23rd, 30th October: 6th, 7th, 14th, 20th, 21st, 28th
