DINGHY RACING SERIES

ABOUT

The Foundry is excited to host a Community Dinghy Racing Series in July and August of 2025! Join us to race E420s with your friends and family! The Foundry will provide E420 JAM sailboats, a race committee boat, a windward mark/ safety boat and will run races beginning at 6pm. An end of series award will be given to the top scoring skipper!  

 

WHO 

Sailors with prior sailing/racing experience, are invited to participate in this racing series on Lake Erie.  Sailors 12 years and under must race with a parent or guardian.  

 *Please note all registrants 12-14 years and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Parents or guardians must remain onsite during the program. 

  

WHEN 

Thursdays:

July 17th, July 24th, July 31st, August 7th, August 14th 

 5:00- 7:30 pm 

 

5pm - 5:30pm Check-In and Boat Rigging

6pm First Warning

No races will start after 7pm

 

WHERE 

Gordon Park E 72nd Street Boat Ramps at 7305 Marginal Road Cleveland, Ohio 44108  

Look for the white Foundry Sailing tent on the west side of the parking lot.

REGISTRATION FEE

$40 per boat

Skippers will pay and register their team. Skippers will provide their crew's email addresses at the time of registration. Skippers may provide more than one email address for potential crew in case they do not know which will attend. Crew will be emailed the Tuesday before racing and must complete the $0 crew registration 24 hours before programming. ​
