National Learn to Row Day
Saturday, June 7, 2025, the Foundry is opening its doors and offering FREE instructional clinics as part of a National Learn-to-Row Day.
National Learn-to-Row Day is when our community (rising 6th through 12th grades and adults) can come learn about and try the sport of rowing! No prior experience is required!
During this 3-hour clinic, our experienced coaches will provide participants with a tour of the boathouse, information on the boats and oars, explain basic rowing terminology, and guide participants through activities designed to build the knowledge and skill of the rowing stroke.
Participants will practice on the indoor rowers and the state-of-the-art indoor rowing tanks. Additionally, participants will test their newly acquired skills on the water of the Cuyahoga River in 8 person shells with the help of coaches and athletes from our in-house rowing clubs.
