Fall Adult Basic Sailing
This program is for individuals who are interested in learning the basic knowledge and skills of sailing. No prior experience is needed. This is a "hands on" program with lessons being taught both on land and on water by certified coaches. You will learn nomenclature, safety, knots, rigging, steering, how sails work, rules of the water and much more! Enjoy a 6-hour one day lesson broken up into (2) three-hour sessions – pack your lunch and hydration for the LUNCH BREAK in between morning and afternoon.

Adult Basic Sailing are available by appointment only for select weekend dates. Kindly email email@example.com with your preferred Saturday or Sunday date and timeframe.
Start Times: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM Lunch Break 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM PLEASE ARRIVE to the Sailing Center 30 MINUTES EARLY FOR SETUP
Cost: $450 per person per session
Where: The Station, The Sailing Center for the Foundry 1000 Cuyahoga River Road, Cleveland, Ohio 44113
*If the Foundry determines that an Adult Learn to Sail session must be cancelled, participants will be notified a minimum of (2) hours prior to the scheduled start time for that day. Make up date for Foundry determined weather impacted cancellation are to be determined.
*Payments made online via credit card will incur a processing fee of 2.95% + $1.25 and will be added during checkout.
In the event you need to cancel your booking, registration fees will be refunded provided notice is received 72 hours in advance of scheduled booking start date. No refund will be applied once a session or series has begun - no refund will be given for no shows. After the registration is complete, you will receive a receipt email with instructions on what to bring, what to wear, directions to the Station, the Sailing Center for the Foundry at the Historic Coast Guard Station, and other pertinent information.
